Aquatic Biological Science

The Course provides scientific knowledge and sophisticated survey techniques for determining the environmental characteristics of the area around the Nansei Islands and southern Kyushu that are greatly affected by the Kuroshio Current. In addition, the course investigates the effect that this current has on life, and enables students to work practically on monitoring the local environment, the utilization of biological resources and the conservation of local flora and fauna.
