2015年10月28日（水）に、香港インターンシップ参加者の帰国報告会を開催しました。参加学生6名（農学系サブコース4名、水産学系サブコース2名）が、学長、農学部長、水産学部長、特別コース担当教員、特別コース所属学生、ならびに鹿児島県の担当者の前で、インターンシップを通じて、学んだこと・考えたことをそれぞれに発表しました。参加学生のなかには、初めて海外に行った学生もいました。「海外で働くこと」が単なる憧れではなく、食文化や生活習慣、言葉が異なる海外で生活しながら働くことの厳しさも、身をもって感じたようです。大学での4年間は、社会に巣立つための大切な準備期間です。「海外」も視野に入れた本コースの学生は、より多くの準備が必要です。香港での経験を生かして、より充実した学生生活を送っていくことでしょう。インターンシップの機会を与えてくださった関係者の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。
A debriefing session regarding the Internship program in Hong Kong was held on October 28th, 2015. Six participants (4 students of Agriculture-based sub-course and 2 students of Fisheries based sub-course) presented their precious experiences in Hong Kong to the President of the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries, the faculty members and students of the Special Course and the representatives of Kagoshima prefectural government, using Power Point slides. Some of the participants went abroad for the first time in their life. They used to have a vague dream that they wanted to work abroad, but the internship experience in Hong Kong allowed them to have a concrete image of working in a foreign country where the food, living style and language are different. The years at the university are the last preparation period before starting their professional career. The internship experience in Hong Kong was a great opportunity for the students to recognize how they should spend their years at the university. We really appreciate those who have contributed a lot to the execution of this wonderful internship program.
