本学オープンキャンパスで国際食料資源学特別コースについて紹介しました/Open Campus Promotes Special Course on International Food and Resource Sciences

2015年8月1日(土)、鹿児島大学ではオープンキャンパスが開催されました。国際食料資源学特別コースについては、農学部・水産学部のオープンキャンパスで、紹介しました。農学部・水産学部のオープンキャンパスには、約500名(農学部・約300名、水産学部・約200名)の参加がありました。それぞれの学部では、学部全体の紹介のなかで、特別コースの概要についての説明も行いました。その後、ポスター展示の場で、ポスターを使いながら、概要紹介や質疑応答を行いました。

Kagoshima University held the annual Open Campus on 1 August 2015, Saturday. The newly opened Special Course on International Food and Resource Sciences was promoted by the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Fisheries. About 300 and 200 guests came to the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Fisheries, respectively.

In each Faculty, the information about the Special Course including its goals, purpose, rationale, target regions and the education program was presented together with that of other departments during the general orientation. Afterwards, the guests visited the Special Course exhibition area and they were presented with a brief lecture and posters in Japanese and English versions. Many students, parents and teachers asked questions and they were answered by faculty members of the Course. Some of the students got interested and might join the Special Course in the next academic year.
