Diploma Policies

 A student will have been deemed to have met the requirements for graduation if they have:

  • (1) understood the actual situation of production, distribution and consumption of domestic and foreign agricultural and livestock products, and the problems of food, agriculture, and rural areas, and not only comprehend the basic theories of social science, but also be able to raise questions about them.
  • (2) learned methods of investigation and analysis of agriculture, rural areas, and agribusiness.
  • (3) acquired specialized knowledge that will allow them to engage in rural development and agribusiness.

Curriculum Policies

 The department will provide:

  • (1) basic subjects to help students understand the problems of food, agriculture, and rural areas.
  • (2) subjects to help students acquire expertise in the problems of food, agriculture, and rural areas.
  • (3) practical subjects to help students understand and analyze more complicated problems of food, agriculture, and rural areas.
  • (4) subjects to guide students working on their graduation thesis, planned and drafted on their own, and to develop their ability to summarize and present it as the culmination of their research.
