Course Introduction

 We are carrying out research and education generally focused on animal reproduction, breeding, feeding management, nutrition and anatomy. The specific focus is as follows: artificial reproduction, developmental biotechnology, production of genetically modified farm animals, evaluation of animal genetic resources, the relationships between economic traits and genetic polymorphisms, utilization of local unused agro-industrial by-products for animal husbandry, grazing, rice-duck farming, protection against wildlife injuries, development of new feed resources, analysis of the mechanism of nutritional metabolism, meat production physiology and histological characteristics of skeletal muscle, and others besides. Our overall aim is the establishment of a new animal science which is in harmony with the environment.
